Chelsea are reportedly leading the chase for Wigan’s impressive attacker Victor Moses, according to Mirror Football.
The Nigeria international played a significant role in keeping the Latics in the top flight with exciting displays towards the end of the season, and has publicly stated that he is interested in a move to a bigger club this summer.
Despite the likes of QPR and Tottenham also courting the Wigan forward, the Stamford Bridge outfit are expected to make a £10 million bid for the DW Stadium star.
Chelsea have an inside contact in the quest to sign Moses, as Blues chief and the player’s countryman Michael Emenalo is said to potentially have an impact in the attacker’s final decision of club.
The Champions League winners have already signed the likes of Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne this summer in a bid to revamp their squad and shake off criticism over their defensive tactics.
