According to , Wrexham are plotting a summer move for former Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United ahead of their journey in the Championship. The Red Dragons have started to spend heavily in the transfer market as they have acquired George Thomason from Bolton Wanderers for a significant £1.2 million ($1.6m) fee, alongside signing Liberato Cacace, Ryan Hardie and Danny Ward.

Moore's addition would be another massive boost for the Welsh club as he could replace the Premier League experience lost upfront after Steven Fletcher's departure as a free agent. The Wales international spent two seasons in the Premier League with Bournemouth before joining the Blades in 2024.

Wrexham have also been linked with a move for Leicester City and Premier League legend Jamie Vardy, who became a free agent at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. The Welsh club, though, have not yet formally approached the veteran striker.
