Arsenal suffered a 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night that put their chances of finishing in the top four in real doubt, while also increasing the pressure on manager Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners knew that they needed to take all three points to maintain their chances of securing a spot in the Champions League at the end of the campaign after all of the top five teams won over the weekend, but they failed to do so in another below-par performance.
The loss also meant that the north London outfit are 14 points behind arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who are closing in on finishing above their neighbours in the Premier League for the first time.
Spurs supporters were quick to have their say on the match via social media, and they were understandably delighted at the result and the implications it could have for Arsenal.
