Arsenal fans, look away now.
Yet another abysmal away performance, combined with another abysmal away loss means that Arsenal have now won just three games on the road all season – a record low for them at this stage of the campaign.
From defensive errors, to goalkeeping calamities and directionless attacking play, Tuesday evening’s defeat at Swansea made the Gunners’ performance at Bournemouth on January 14th look like Brazil circa 1970.
Nacho Monreal gave Arsenal the lead just after the half hour mark but Swansea got back on level terms just a minute later through Sam Clucas.
From then on, Arsene Wenger’s side fell apart and second half goals from Jordan Ayew and Sam Clucas again, handed bottom of the table Swansea a much needed victory.
The most horrific moment of the night was undoubtedly a calamitous mistake by Petr Cech which lead directly to Swansea’s second goal…
Following the defeat, a number of Arsenal fans took to Twitter to lambaste their goalkeeper, who is valued at £5.4million on Transfermarkt and demand the club either drop or sell him…
