Chelsea dropped two points last night against Liverpool at Anfield but the Blues still look odds-on for the title, with the clubs behind them also dropping points and leaving Antonio Conte’s side with a nine-point advantage at the top of the table. The Blues have been impressive this season and extremely difficult to defeat, which makes it unlikely that any of the chasing pack with manage to overturn their big deficit, and the figures show that their rivals missed a big chance last night as the Blues don’t drop points often.
Remarkable, Chelsea’s draw at Anfield was their first draw in the Premier League since the start of September and only their second this season overall, with the Blues managing to go 18 consecutive games without sharing the points.
During that run Chelsea have tasted defeat just once, losing to Tottenham Hotspur at the start of January, and it means the Blues celebrations at the end of the season are now inevitable.
