Mauricio Pochettino’s summer seems to be getting busier and busier as the transfer rumours come thick and fast. Today’s Spurs transfer roundup includes a club-record bid, an improved offer for a La Liga star and talks with a Champions League semi-finalist’s representatives.
Second bid for Lo Celso incoming
According to the Daily Mirror, Tottenham are preparing a second bid for Real Betis’ Giovani Lo Celso. The first offer of £53.5m was rejected by the Spanish club, and Betis are believed to be holding out for someone to meet the player’s £88.9m release clause.
£60m offer for Ndombele
The Sun are reporting that Tottenham have made a £60m bid for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele. Ndombele is apparently Pochettino’s number one target, but Lyon are reportedly holding out for £65m for a player they signed permanently just last summer.
Van de Beek on Tottenham’s radar
Spurs have held talks with Ajax player Donny van de Beek’s representatives according to the Guardian. The Dutch midfielder had a great season last time around and even scored against Tottenham in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
